Museo al aire libre de Bokrijk, Bélgica

El pasado verano, pudimos hacer algo más de turismo en los alrededores de la ciudad de Genk, Bélgica. Más concretamente en el museo al aire libre de Bokrijk. Un enorme superficie de 90 hectáreas donde han reconstituido un centenar de edificios en los que se muestra cómo era la vida de antaño en las provincias flamencas.
Se distinguen cuatro sectores, tres de índole rural y uno urbano. Cada sector rural corresponde a una región: Campine, Limburgo, así como Flandes Oriental y Flandes Occidental en lo que respecta a las granjas de la Baja Bélgica.
En cuanto al sector urbano, se ha reconstruido las fachadas de algunos edificios históricos antuerpienses (ss. XV-XVIII), recreando la vida en los años 60/70.

Sin duda un lugar muy agradable para visitar.

Last summer, we were able to do some more sightseeing around the town of Genk, Belgium.
More specifically in the open-air museum of Bokrijk. A huge area of 90 hectares where they have reconstituted a hundred buildings in which it shows what was the life in the Flemish provinces.
There are four sectors, three rural and one urban. Each rural sector corresponds to a region: Campine, Limburg, as well as East Flanders and West Flanders with regard to the farms of Lower Belgium.
As for the urban sector, the façades of some historical buildings of the Antuerians (15th-18th centuries) have been reconstructed, recreating life in the 60s / 70s.

Definitely a very nice place to visit.
